Campaign Finance Information
Important: To access campaign finance reports, use the “Report Search” on the left side of this page. When the new window appears for you to enter the name you wish to search, you must disable your browser’s pop up blocker in order to view the report.
Welcome to the Pennsylvania Department of State’s Campaign Finance Web site. This site receives and posts campaign finance reports filed by candidates for statewide, legislative and judicial offices, as well as political committees registered in Pennsylvania. Reports filed by other local candidates or political committees can be viewed by contacting the county Board of Elections. Campaign finance reports can now be filed and reviewed online 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Campaign finance reports for the 2014 Governor and Lieutenant Governor candidates are also available at a separate website. For information on that website, call 717-787-5280, option 4.

*General Election Audit Lottery
The Pennsylvania Election Code provides for an independent audit of campaign finance reports filed by candidates and their political committees from three percent of the districts represented on the ballot for the primary and general elections. Section 1635 of the Campaign Finance Reporting Law requires the Secretary of the Commonwealth to select by lottery, at a public drawing conducted forty days after each election, those districts to be audited. In a general election year seven districts are selected for each election.
The General Election Audit Lottery will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 16, 2013 in Room 210 of the North Office Building.
